Nutritional Coaching

Being an athlete isn’t just about training or lifting weights; it’s a holistic endeavor.

It's about knowing what foods to eat in which amounts, managing stress, reducing inflammation, and feeding your body the nutrients it needs to function optimally. In other words, it’s about getting back to taking care of you.

Maybe your goal is to lose weight — Covid weight is a thing — or you just want to ensure that you are eating the foods you need to strengthen your body and keep your mind fresh. I am here to help you achieve all of this.

One of the first things to know about my approach is that no food or beverage is off-limits. I believe in eating the cake and celebrating with food in a way that brings us together (bonds us, culturally). I also believe that we don’t need to deprive ourselves. Food is more than just fuel: it is to be enjoyed. When we work together, we’ll create habits around food that make eating healthy, enjoyable while also providing your body with the nutrition it needs to function optimally.

“Inspired by today's chat, I tried on some pre-quarantine clothes. Those shiny jeans I was afraid I'd have to get rid of? Had room in the thighs! A fancy blouse, and a trim jacket that I put in the 'will never fit again but too proud to donate' bin? The arms fit, and I could actually wear them! The blouse fit better than the last time I wore it. I'm amazed! Wooooo!”
